‘Get Kiwi on mound’

BASEBALL: A player tipped as the starting pitcher for the Auckland Tuatara in their Australian Baseball League home opener would like to see a Kiwi get the job. The Tuatara head to Brisbane tomorrow for their first pre-season games this weekend with their competition opener against Brisbane in Auckland on November 23. American pitcher Josh Collmenter is viewed as a starting option but said it would be awesome to see a Kiwi get the job.
