CRICKET: Cricket great Shane Warne has taken an opportunity to lambast modern-day reporting — while promoting his new book through media. Warne, once coined as the “patron saint of a slow news day” by one cricketing journalist, appears to have missed the irony while speaking to Newstalk ZB. Warne said he was prepared to be “nailed” by the media, provided it was factual and fair.
