Harry Field was charged at the Napier Police court this morning when on October 18 between Otane and Hastings he did use obscene language and that he refused to produce his railway ticket when demanded to do so.

● Hawke’s Bay Herald Tribune The Napier Regimental band played selections on the Hastings racecourse yesterday afternoon when a large crowd assembled to enjoy the concert. The Hastings band joining in several patriotic numbers. A collection of £11 was taken up. Mrs A Ellingham entertaine­d both bands at dinner in the Pacific hotel.
