I had the pleasure of talking to Dame Jools Topp about her and her twin sister’s outstanding book Topp Country — A Culinary Journey. What an absolute hoot she is, I thoroughly enjoyed our chat via phone. The book is much more than a cookbook and the photos are stunning. It includes five Hawke’s Bay food producers/artisans — more on page 5.

The busy time of the year is fast approaching so if you get a chance to put your feet up this weekend do it.
