● Couldn’t agree more with texter re car parking in Napier city — or rather the lack of!!! Large area along Marine Parade blocked off with road cones ‘Buses only’. Took 20 mins driving around before I found a park and if I hadn’t had an appointment in town I would have given up. No wonder we prefer to shop online & it costs less than $10 to get goods delivered!! And now we can only park for a maximum of 2 hours which isn’t enough time if you want to do some shopping & maybe lunch.

● Interesting those petrol heads watching the car racing at Newcastle Aus this weekend the track was 26km long and it took 1min 10secs per lap. This is the same distance as from Napier to Hastings it would be good if the nerdos would speed up a bit and cut down the daily travel time
