Drowned boy named

Police have named the boy who drowned at Wainui Beach, Raglan on Thursday. He was seven-yearold Logan Recce Tuson, from Hamilton. He was spending the day at the beach with family when he got into difficulty in the water and was swept into the harbour channel. His body was recovered soon afterwards following a search by Coastguard, Surf Life Saving, the Westpac Rescue helicopter crew and members of the public in other watercraft.
