Art Deco gets polish

Napier Art Deco Festival organisers are putting the finishing touches to the event. Although many attractions have sold out there are still tickets to a few held at venues with increased capacity. If you can sneak away from work early on the Friday make sure you go along to the Municipal Theatre to listen to the Royal NZ Navy Band in concert. Tickets are also available to solo show Miss Jean Batten, on Friday and Saturday night at 5pm in the Century Theatre. As fashion is the theme this year, the feature event is Fashion on the Foreshore with Art Deco Inspired pieces new and old appearing on the catwalk on Saturday evening.
