Splash and bike, dash and TRY - give it your best

A total of 1678 children put on their blue and red shirt and raced to Frimley Park for the Weetbix Kid's TRYAthlon yesterday. The competitor­s aged 7 to 15 took a splash in the pool, then a bike ride to the Hawke's Bay Regional Sports Park for a run. At least 300,000 children across New Zealand have competed in the triathlon since it started in 1992.
