New port directors
Napier Port has appointed two new directors to its board. Vincent Tremaine was chief executive of Flinders Ports Holdings, which owns seven South Australian ports. John Harvey has a background in financial services, including with NZX listings, acquisitions, mergers and financial reporting. The appointments were recommended by HBRIC and approved by the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council. Napier Port chairman Alasdair MacLeod welcomed the appointments. “Napier Port has some important challenges ahead, as we investigate a partial listing on the Stock Exchange. The experience and expertise John and Vincent offer will be a real asset through this process and beyond, and I’m pleased to welcome them to the board.”
