Bid for congress

New Zealand Avocado will present a bid to host the 2023 World Avocado Congress (WAC) event in New Zealand when they attend the forthcoming WAC in Columbia in September. Held every four years in different countries, the World Avocado Congress would take place over four days, bringing over 2000 growers, researchers, marketers, tech innovators and investors from around the world to New Zealand. Tourism New Zealand supporting the bid. If successful, this will be the first time New Zealand has hosted the event.
