■ Here's something for the media to get stuck into. What happened to NZ First’s threat to move all Govt. banking buisness to Kiwi Bank. Record profits to the big four banks, this year $1 billion dollars going offshore to our Aussie mates. We are being bilked. MN

■ It seems a little bit criminal that politician­s don’t talk to people with knowledge and experience to attempt to get things right instead on throwing money to get votes etc makes one wonder if the labour and green government politician­s are actually educated ??

■ Mountain bikers are taking over the Havelock North reserves and the Council is not letting the public know about this. Bikes and walkers (some listening to music on headphones) aren't compatible.

■ Wonderful editorial on Maori health needs and initiative­s. Keep them coming, Sir/Madam.

■ Those who wish to increase their assets need to find another way to do that, that doesn't impact on rental housing.

■ Interestin­g article about the logging trucks in a logjam in Ahuriri, some of them illegally parked on yellow broken lines, are they above the law, where were the police to issue tickets, would have been a lot of revenue gathering. Rules are rules for everyone, someone should be acting on them PW

■ Tues ed ,I'd ask you again, how are a few batts in the ceiling going to make a warm dry rental? Most have concrete floors and condensat`ıon. I repeat, it takes double glazing to fix,
