● The only people responsible for harming the child in Flaxmere are the people who did it and are not saying what happened. Social workers who deal with uplifting or returning children are damned if they do and damned if they don’t!

● Joined the Mission Concert Club 14 years ago to be able to purchase at pre sale. Yeah right! On line almost 2 hours. Not possible to get tickets. AGAIN!

● While not a fan of Yule, I commend him for his defence of Oranga Tamariki in answer to Des Ratima. Last year they were accused of taking children from potential scenarios such as the recent case. Now they are being bad mouthed for not taking children away. The blame lies totally in the hands of the person who carried out the act. No excuses please Des.

● Drivers who stay in the passing lane holding up others with plenty of distance to pass are a danger on our roads and when it is a roadworks truck blowing fumes it is not a good look for the company whose name is on the doors!

● Why can’t port develop towards Westshore, creating bigger harbour, more space and growing economy of HB? The long term plan was always to expand to Breakwater Rd. If it’s okay for council to divert trucks past our place in the name of progress, and wiping value off our property, why worry about Ahuriri property values? KM

● Re parking at Hawke’s Bay Hospital, how about demolishing the old nursing home, it’s half empty anyway.

● Re the Mission concert, it’s time people are stopped spreading huge tarps over the ground to save spaces for their mates. That’s why the runners do their sprints and very unfair to others. Take the large tarps off them. The agro it causes is huge.

● To the driver of the silver Audi speeding down Nelson Cres on Tuesday night, I’ve reported your number plate to *555.
