Protest packed up

Activists blocking a Southland mine have left the site. More than 20 protesters halted operations for about a day at Takitimu coal mine, in the small town of Nightcaps. They were opposing plans by owner Bathurst Resources to expand into a council-owned forestry block and they were calling for New Zealand to quit coal.
