PC’s indecent assault

A police recruit has been charged with indecent assault, after bursting into the rooms of women colleagues at night to “practise” search and seizure techniques. It’s understood that two recruits went door-to-door in the Police College barracks in Porirua, entering the rooms of three trainees that were getting ready to sleep. After being told to leave the first two rooms, one of the men allegedly groped the occupant in a “pat down” in the third. Police have confirmed a recruit has been charged, and will appear in court this month.
