The story on our Facebook page headed “Napier brewer finds ducks are just the shot — for 63 years of gameshooting” drew these comments:

● Halie-Marie Graham: Duck shooting is a form of pest control, they do so much damage to the waterways etc, numbers need to be controlled. Good on these guys.

● Summer Jayne: Awful! If people are as worried about water quality as they claim, then they should give up dairy products and leave ducks alone!
