Agency told to cut back
The Transport Minister has warned his agency to keep an eye on its spending after it was revealed Waka Kotahi spent $10,000 on two life-sized prop number zeros. They are used to promote the Government’s 2035 zero road deaths target. Michael Wood said although it was not a lot of money, the agency still needed to be careful. He said he had sent a reminder to Waka Kotahi that it was important they’re careful with their money and spent responsibly.
