Political fallout

-

Labour Minister Willie Jackson yesterday took a swipe at Act leader David Seymour’s attitude to Maori, saying he’s actively campaigning as he watches his votes fall. Maori Party co-leader Debbie Ngarewa Packer took it one step further, saying Seymour is very mixed up about what he is, Maori or Pakeha. But Seymour says he’s not paying much attention to the comments. He says he doesn’t want to risk responding and be the only person in this country who takes Willie Jackson seriously. He says New Zealand needs to focus on our constitutional future.
