Signs laughable Israel bashers
Saturday’s World Feature sadly contained the same Israel bashers as we have heard from before.
Human rights groups who at any whim go on a hate fest of the Jewish
State, have nothing good to say about it, and then turn a blind eye to what the Israeli people themselves put up with by those the human rights groups defend.
In the last month 17 innocent Israelis have been murdered by Palestinian terrorists. This is not because the perpetrators feel oppressed by the Israeli “occupation”, as Arabs living in the West Bank are still better off than many of their brethren living in other parts of the Middle East. Rather it is because they are urged by their Palestinian leaders to go out and commit these acts of murder. The latest outburst was by two Palestinian axeman who hacked to bits three fathers, leaving 16 children fatherless.
These innocent Israelis died because they were Jews living in their own historical and indigenous homeland — something the Palestinian leadership has never been willing to accept.

I’ve recently driven the Napier Taupo Rd. Some conscientious right-wingers have many posters to “Stop3Waters”. I doubt any of the farms bearing these signs are connected to town water, sewage or stormwater.
It’s laughable seeing this from those completely unaffected by the policy.
In response to NZTA reducing the speed to 80km/h, there are signs bearing the PM’s face and the line “I did this”. It is equally laughable.
NZTA operates independently of government and it is currently spending billions on motorways north of Taupo.
NZTA does need to get real about Highway No 5 as a priority though.
It is a major link and in far worse condition than many secondary roads further north. Eg. the RotoruaTirau And Tirau-Paeroa roads. Both with superb surfaces, rumble strips and many passing lanes.
