PM to miss big week

Jacinda Ardern will miss out sharing a cheese roll with Grant Robertson on budget day. The Prime Minister tested positive for covid-19 on Saturday, after returning a weak positive result on Friday night. Newstalk ZB Chief Political Reporter Jason Walls said it couldn’t have come at a worse time for her. He said Ardern would not be in Parliament this week for the release of the Emissions Reduction Plan today, which will be huge.

She’ll also miss the Budget on Thursday . . . with the only silver lining being able to head to the US next weekend.
