Sexuality isn’t an issue

Football: Blackpool striker Jake Daniels has become the first active footballer in England’s professional leagues to identify as gay. The 17-year-old says he was inspired by the example of Adelaide United midfielder Josh Cavallo, who did the same last year. Daniels said he hated lying and feeling the need to change to fit in. He says his teammates at the third-tier English club embraced his sexuality after he confided in them.
