Age Concern Hawke’s Bay provides supports and activities across the Hastings and Central Hawke’s Bay district. With the local offices in Hastings and Central Hawke’s Bay they are centrally based to support residents moving into a new life stage. The organisation provides a range of social activities, health promotion programmes and Social Work Support in the community.
Age Concern has several great groups to get involved with including Zumba and Line Dancing for the young at heart. Steady As You Go is a gentle exercise programme that works to improve strength and balance, alongside our social groups catering to many interests. You don’t need to be a member to join in our activities and many are free or a gold coin donation.
With two new Activity Days running in Hastings and Waipawa now is the time to join in and discover some interests and make new friends.
Alongside these activities, Age Concern also has a meal delivery service, foot care clinic and works in partnership with community organisations and government agencies to deliver community wide initiatives and information days.
