17 more Covid deaths

New Zealand had 7800 community cases of Covid-19 yesterday — and 17 more people have died with the virus. There are 401 people in hospital with Covid, 14 of them in intensive care. The total of publicly reported deaths is now 1039 and the seven-day rolling average is 14. Of those who died, one was in their 50s, one in their 60s, four in their 70s, five in their 80s and six were over 90. Just over 56,000 cases are active in the community.
