Decision delayed

A decision over whether Christchurch’s water will be fluoridated has been put off until at least April. Christchurch City Council earlier said a decision from the Government would be made by the end of the year. A Ministry of Health spokesperson says a letter advised the director general of health had written to 27 local authorities advising each they are now being actively considered for a potential direction to fluoridate.
