A reopening date has finally been set for Te Mata Four Square after a fire tore through the store at the start of the year. It was confirmed that the store was scheduled to reopen on December 15 in a post on the Four Square Te Mata Havelock North Facebook page on Sunday. A fire on January 4 left the store damaged and forced owners Jayesh and Nilam Uka to shut shop until repairs could be completed. Jayesh Uka said in a post in October that there were part-time and full-time job vacancies available at the store, including team leaders, store assistants, bakery, food prep and produce Assistants, checkout staff, personnel experienced in HR/SAP/Food Safety/Safety and wellbeing and liquor manager certificate holders.
