Trio sentenced

A businessman and twin brothers have been sentenced to community work and detention for skirting legal requirements in donating to the National Party. Order of Merit recipient Yikun Zhang and twins Colin and Joe Zheng were found guilty last month of obtaining by deception. It followed a Serious Fraud Office investigation relating to concealing the source of donations in 2018. Zhang received 200 hours’ community work, Colin Zheng 250 hours and Joe Zheng 150 hours.
