Funding for medicines

Thousands of people will benefit from expanded access to seven drugs from yesterday. Pharmac is funding open access to progesterone, widening access to a pneumococcal vaccine, and listing a long-acting schizophrenia treatment. There are also new treatments for kidney disease, leukaemia, lymphoma and major burns.
