Russian reveals WWE fight offer

Herald on Sunday - - IN OTHER NEWS -

UFC president Dana White pulled the pin on Tukhugov’s next fight scheduled for October 27 before revealing he was considering banning him.

The move didn’t sit too well with the Russian champion, who threatened to quit the promotion if his team-mate is removed.

With the UFC star’s future hanging in the balance, he has revealed he has been approached for a blockbuster fight. Nurmagomedov has claimed the WWE have approached him.

The world’s largest wrestling promotion has wasted no time in going after the indemand Russian and wants him to become the latest UFC star to make the switch.

He would join the likes of Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar as fighters who have made the shock decision to change allegiance. And he appeared to immediately set his sights on former UFC heavyweight king and former WWE champion Lesnar.
