Struggled to get involved as Ireland were unable to maintain possession but did show some good scrambling defence.

-

Rob KEARNEY Keith EARLS

Had a night to forget, plagued by handling errors. Struggled to find any way of making a positive impact.

Garry RINGROSE

Left the pitch after sustaining an early head knock but was able to return and tried hard for little reward.

Robbie HENSHAW

Bombed the first real chance Ireland had to score a try but made up for it moments later. Worked hard throughout

Jacob STOCKDALE

Missed more tackles than he made, turned the ball over and didn't get an opportunity to shine with ball in hand.

Johnny SEXTON

Had trouble getting his hands on the ball, and when he got it, he did little with it. Struggled all night.

Conor MURRAY

Much like Sexton, Murray didn't have an easy night. Made some average decisions and turned the ball over.

CJ STANDER

Tried to provide a defensive spark for his side, muscling up to try and slow down the All Blacks attack.

Josh VAN DER FLIER

Did what he could to lift his side with a strong tackling display and did plenty of solid work at the breakdown.

Peter O'MAHONY

Made a nuisance of himself, stealing a couple of All Blacks lineout throws and forcing turnovers.

James RYAN

Provided a reliable presence at the lineout and worked tirelessly trying to smother the All Blacks attack.

Iain HENDERSON

Made plenty of tackles and tried hard to assert himself getting into his work in the physical areas of the game.

Tadhg FURLONG

Put his hand up for the odd carry and muscled up to secure what little possession his side could control.

Rory BEST (C)

Reliable when it came to the lineout, he also made some strong tackles, and even flashed his offloading skills.

Cian HEALY

Didn't make much of an impact on the game outside of the set pieces. Ireland's lack of possession didn't help.
