Central find pulse in final quarter
A stunning fourth-quarter onslaught has seen the Central Pulse stretch their ANZ Premiership netball winning streak to double digits. Down 32-30 to the Northern Stars going into the final quarter, it looked as if the Pulse could be in for their first loss of the 2020 season, but a superb 16-4 final quarter saw Pulse pull away to claim an eventually comfortable 46-36 victory, and move to 10-0. The Stars have a 3-1-5 record, and still sit three points behind the Mainland Tactix and four behind the Northern Mystics, who have a game in hand, in the race for second place and a spot in next month’s finale.
