Lawyer to stand

The Na­tional Party has se­lected a new can­di­date for the CluthaSout­h­land elec­torate for this year’s elec­tion. Dis­graced MP Hamish Walker was set to stand again before he re­signed after his part in the Covid-19 pa­tient de­tails email leak scan­dal. The party has an­nounced Joseph Mooney, a senior trial lawyer who’s built his own law prac­tice in the South­ern re­gion, will take his place.
