Complainant censured

A Dunedin woman who made a sexual assault complaint has ended up in the dock after naming the man on social media. Days later she was charged under the Harmful Digital Communications Act but pleaded guilty to the less serious count of misusing a telephone. Judge David Robinson gave the woman, in her 30s, a 12-month deferred sentence.
