Shoppers shot at mall

Three people were shot and wounded yesterday during an apparent fight between two groups at a mall in the US crowded with shoppers on the day after Thanksgiving, police said. Authorities said one person was detained following the incident in North Carolina and there was no further threat to the public. Police said one of the victims was a 10-year-old child hit when a bullet ricocheted.
