NATURAL ELEMENTS

A seaside kitchen combines bespoke joinery and Corian in a sophisticated, textured look.

-

This raw and textured new-build was designed by Gibbons Architects, while the kitchen was specified and detailed by Annika Rowson of Rowson Kitchens Corian in ‘Natural Grey’ is showcased on the benchtops, with stainless steel, keruing timber, onyx veneer and concrete providing the foundation with matte black features contributing the accents

This detailed seaside build (by Lifestyle Building & Construction) consists of three levels, with multiple areas of bespoke joinery As well as the kitchen, Corian ‘Natural Grey’ features in the games room, kitchenette and custom circular vanity bowls, while the laundry features Corian in ‘Glacier White’

Corian ‘Natural Grey’ has a mid-grey base, with tight, deep grey veining and is sprinkled with barely there particles that catch the light The depth and movement of this contrasts exquisitely with the rough concrete, providing a contrast in texture and a layering of similar tones

Like all Corian colours and patterns, it is seamless, tactile (it’s surprisingly warm and soft to touch), hygienic and renewable Coupled with a 10-year residential warranty from manufacturer Du-Pont, it is one of Rowson’s favourite benchtop, splashback, vanity and laundry options

Eclectic yet sophisticated, this home and kitchen is an entertainer’s dream, reflecting natural and raw elements that compliment the surroundings
