Pukaha garden tour tickets on sale now

-

Tickets for Pukaha’s much loved annual Wairarapa garden tour are on sale now for $55.

This gets you a ticket to the tour which will feature more than a dozen gorgeous private gardens in southern and central Wairarapa on November 10 and 11. There are plenty of new gardens on the 2018 tour as well as some returning favourites like Old Tablelands in Martinborough and Te Puhi in Featherston.

“We have an amazing variety in this year’s tour,” says Pukaha Mt Bruce’s general manager Emily Court. “There’ll be something for everyone with everything from grand estates and country cottage gardens to intensive edibles, sustainable designs and a flower farm.

“We’re also working with our sponsor, local financial advice firm RIVAL Wealth, to offer a post garden tour event on Saturday, November 10. This would provide the opportunity for garden tour ticket holders to join together and relax over a glass of wine and nibbles after a busy day visiting gardens,” says Emily.

Also new to the tour is Greytown’s Prodigal Daughter charcuterie providing pre-ordered picnics. Packed with local tasty treats including cured meats, bread, crackers, olives, pickles and Drunken Nanny cheese, these picnics will sustain garden visitors on the tour. Picnics can be ordered when purchasing garden tour tickets via Eventfinda. For every picnic sold, $1.50 goes to Pukaha.

For any help purchasing tickets through Eventfinda, local i-sites in Martinborough and Masterton can help, and Pukaha staff can assist too.

The Pukaha Wairarapa Garden Tour is a two-day self-drive event that is a fundraiser for Pukaha Mt Bruce. Children are welcome. The event goes ahead rain or shine. Last year the garden tour sold out.
