Hospice warns of false collector

Horowhenua Chronicle - - NEWS -

Arohanui Hospice says they have received reports a man has been doorknocking in Levin falsely claiming to be collecting money for them.

The organisation has advised that it does not undertake door-to-door collections and if someone claims to be doing so on their behalf it is a scam.

“We advise anyone who encounters someone at their door asking for donations to Hospice, to not give any money or details, and to notify their local police station,” a statement said.
