Rose shop pops up
Local Levin garden enthusiast Wendy Sinclair is bringing a new opportunity to the Nola Simpson Rose Gardens on Sunday October 21.
She is organising a new popup shop called Rose Bud which will be in the gardens from 9am to 4pm, selling high-quality roses.
While these may not yet be in bloom, they will be on display in the gardens.
The roses are just about to burst into life and are looking healthy. Come and enjoy the rose gardens with your picnic lunch.
At lunchtime between 12pm and 2pm you will also have the opportunity to talk “everything roses” with Anna Bradbury from South Pacific Rose Nurseries. Anna is an avid rose lover and will be happy to discuss your rose questions.
All types of roses will be for sale, including bush, hybrid tea, old world, miniatures and standards as well as some new rose-themed items.
Wendy welcomes enquiries to help you select the rose you admire most to take home.
Please phone 027 313 2073 or (home) (06) 368-1184 — evenings preferred.
Wendy Sinclair is setting up a pop-up ‘shop’ over Labour Weekend for gardeners, especially rose enthusiasts. This is Wendy with a healthy rose climber, Crepescule.
