Uniting Church’s fair well supported
“The community is so supportive,” said Levin Uniting Church Clerk Allen Little.
The church held its annual fair on Saturday and by opening time there was a queue at the door.
Fresh fruit and vegetables, donated by local growers, used books, linen, plants, home-made goods such as cakes and honey as well as crafts were on offer between 8.30am and 11.30am.
There was a white elephant stall, plenty of bric-a-brac, cds, records and DVDs too.
By 10am there was plenty left and a steady stream of buyers was still coming through the doors.
Levin’s Uniting Church’s annual fair was well attended.
