Fairfield School has 500th student
Fairfield School has had lots to celebrate this year as their roll officially hit 500.
This is the first time the roll has been this high in the school’s history.
Although the roll has grown, the school still has a strong community feel where the teachers ensure that they build strong relationships with their students and families.
Many classrooms have a tuakana/teina relationship where the older children are able to support the younger children.
Maia Kuijten was recognised as the school’s 500th student and received a special certificate in assembly.
