A primary school netball competition will still be played tomorrow at Donnelly Park, albeit with a few Covid-19 protocols to be observed.

A protocol check-list said all coaches would be asked to provide the names and contact details of all their players and parents present for contact tracing purposes.

Hand-shakes and high-fives were discouraged: “. . . teams should file past, smile and say ‘good game' or ‘thanks for the game',” it said.

Courts have been changed to allow a buffer zone between each game and players and spectators were asked to stay near their allocated courts and stand on opposite sides of the court.

Hand-sanitiser will be available at each court and netballs themselves were too be sanitised.
