Club’s new hoops raise the bar

Late last year the Levin Croquet Club Inc was the grateful recipient of a grant from the Southern Trust to purchase four sets of stainless steel Quadway hoops and accessories valued at over $6000.

The old metal hoops are rusting from the inside and the arrival of the new ones, deemed Championship hoops, has now brought the club into compliance with the national competition standard.

Club members are getting used to the new hoops which play quite differently, and are looking forward to hosting interclub and other competitions, as well as its Speldhurst-sponsored tournament in March.
