Person dies after Cambridge St crash

Police have confirmed a person has died following a crash on the southern end of Cambridge St, Levin, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The incident was reported to police at around 2.30am. One person died at the scene. Only one vehicle was involved.

Cambridge St was closed while Serious Crash Unit conduct an investigation.

Enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
