Trust already giving back to community

-

The Horowhenua New Zealand Company and Trust have already turned a profit, less than three years into their project for a business park. Expecting it to take five years to fill the hard to sell land, the last lot on Roe St was sold in September of last year.

Two local projects that help vulnerable members of our community are now benefiting from their efforts, as the first dividend has been paid out. Hope Kete received a large walk-in chiller freezer from the Trust and Wahine Toa, a local police project helping women affected by family violence, has received money towards the next camp they plan to hold.

“It was always our plan to reinvest any profits from the development into our community,” said chairman Antony Young.
