We hope this update finds you rested and refreshed after an Easter break; here at

Chamber, we are recharged and looking forward to reconnecti­ng with you all in-person.

Our events calendar is filling up fast with many exciting (and, finally, in person!) opportunit­ies for networking, upskilling, and connecting.

In May, the Kāpiti Coast Business Network is back with a bang on the 10th, our Key Partner

Bayley’s will be kicking off our 2022 Business

After Five’s on the 25th, and the Women in

Business Coffee Connection­s will be waiting to warmly welcome you for a cuppa to wind down the month on the 27th. It has also been a delight to see the continued success of our online ‘Coming to Your Front Room’ series. Join us on the 18th to discuss this month’s topic, ‘HR looking after your people in a global pandemic’, with panellists Bede Laracy, Sheryl McFadgen, and Julia Palmer. Our advocacy committee is up and off to a running start, keeping busy with the new opportunit­ies brought by the successful opening of Transmissi­on Gulley. A powerful representa­tive for local business, this committee is here to advocate on your behalf to the Kāpiti Coast District Council, Greater

Wellington Regional Council, and New Zealand

Government. Have your voice heard, and reach out to us with any thoughts, issues, or concerns you have to help us best serve you.
