CHAIR’S MESSAGE – BRENDAN DUFFY
The Electra business awards are the annual opportunity in Kapiti and Horowhenua districts to measure business performance and salute success. A really sincere thanks to Electra for supporting the vision.
This year 30 businesses have entered, some small some large, that’s not what matters, its being prepared to give it a go, expose some areas of improvement and take up the challenge to be even more successful.
And on that note, this year we are supported by John Matangi and his family who own JBs ENVIRONMENTAL LTD, they are sponsoring the awards dinner this year. Their business is the perfect example of a local enterprise starting as a “one man band”, being prepared to do the hard yards and have grown into a highly recognised brand delivering quality services to our region. You will have spotted JBs Hydro Extreme trucks building the express way, and you must have heard their advertisements for the septic service they provide “Number one with your number twos”, their JBs water supply trucks, or their JBs fire wood supply service!
