I am profoundly delighted and honoured to stand as a finalist in the BKH Awards, representing the remarkable journey of Mike Pero Mortgages Wellington/ Kāpiti. Our story began in 2010 when the business was established, and in 2015, my brother stepped in to revive it from the brink of bankruptcy. Inspired by the vision of providing unparalleled customer service, I assumed the reins in 2018 as a selfemployed mortgage and insurance advisor. We are not just in the business of lending and protection; we are in the business of making dreams come true. Every customer is unique, and we approach their financial needs with unwavering dedication. These awards underscore our commitment to serving each client as though they are our only client.

2018 was a year of transition, when I embarked on the path of self-employment, embracing the challenges that came with it. In 2020, we adapted to a remote work environment, reinforcing our commitment to excellence even amidst unprecedented circumstances.
