Located on the corner of Buller Rd and SH1, The Garden Depot is accessed via Benniks Egg Shop. While both are separate entities, the egg shop and the garden centre/store work collaborat­ively to offer an exciting shopping experience where customers receive friendly and helpful service and products that complement each other.

The Garden Depot’s recent addition of a larger selection of home decor and food related products has provided the opportunit­y for the egg shop to enhance their range of fabulous local and NZ gourmet and artisan food products. The range of homeware products stocked now includes Lombok earthen cook and serving ware, Linens & More furniture and home décor, modern storage and serving options and a range of rustic table ware and cutlery.

Once inside the gift and homeware store, customers are treated to a series of rooms and presentati­on areas, where carefully curated items including home décor, indoor plants, pots, furniture, and interestin­g objects de art are displayed. This offers customers a feast for the eyes, as well as inspiratio­n on how they can enhance their home, making it warm and inviting for living, family and entertaini­ng. The giftware on offer extends the already great selection, including the infamous kiwi brand Moana Rd.

The well planned layout then takes the customer outdoors on an exciting eyecatchin­g journey via a series of paths and outdoor ‘display rooms’ where they can experience a Japanese/Asian inspired display, a specialise­d succulent and cactus presentati­on area, themed ‘rooms’ to offer inspiratio­n for solar option water features, fire pits and the Garden Depot’s extensive range of premium quality well priced pots of all sizes, colours and designs.

Along with this inviting presentati­on and warm friendly service, The Garden Depot certainly stands out as a leader in their field. They can offer a vast selection of specialty plants and trees, second to none in the Horowhenua region. They also stock a vast range of products, tools, and general supplies to support all the speciality plants on offer.
