In Case of Emergency Beaver Tree Service is Here to Help!

-

Tree emergencies can include a wide range of urgent situations requiring immediate attention to preserve both human safety and the health of the tree. Storms, diseases, pests, and accidents can all lead to tree emergencies.

The most common tree emergencies can arise during severe weather events such as cyclones, high winds or heavy rainfall. High winds can uproot trees or break branches, posing risks to nearby structures and individuals. Prompt removal of fallen trees or damaged limbs is crucial to prevent further property damage and ensure safety. Additionally, diseases and pests can rapidly spread among trees, and traumatic accidents often need immediate intervention to assess the extent of damage and mitigate any potential hazards.

So what can Beaver Tree Service do to help?

You may not be aware, but we can provide annual maintenance of your trees, not only keeping them looking good but keeping the trimmed to help mitigate any risk of failure. We can also provide a health and safety check of your trees’, assessing any immediate risks as well as coming up a with a plan to complete any essential work. Height reductions, crown thinning, and dead limb removal can also help reduce the risks of your trees failing.

We are also well equipped to handle emergencies. If you have a tree that has failed, or has a significant risk of failing, you can contact Beaver at any time. With our out of hours emergency line we are ready to help no matter the day or time. Recently, we received a call from Fire and Emergency New Zealand who were battling a blaze near Otaki. The call came in at 11pm Saturday night and we had a team at the site by 7am Sunday morning. While our crew were not actively battling the fire, they did work closely with Fire and Emergency NZ strategically taking down trees whose removal would continue to slow and eventually stop the fire.

If you have an emergency, for example if a tree has fallen on your house or driveway, you can call Beaver Tree Service at any time of day. For an afterhours or weekend emergency phone 0800 423 283 and select option 1. During business hours phone and select your location.
