ATELIER JONES DESIGN
The Tetra Console is built with mindful material applications and sourcing that blends a combination of digital with traditional fabrication methods. These are reflected in the rugged yet precise qualities of the table. The tabletop is handcrafted out of highquality salvaged New Zealand rimu. The rimu is sourced from demolished timber-framed houses dating back to the early 20th century, that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. Its provenance (location, building period & type and demolition date) is documented with a laser etched label located on the underside of the wooden plank.
Through marrying the traditional and the digital processes, The Tetra Console celebrates original material expressions and combinations, making it a distinguishable piece with a striking and bold design.
