A QUICK SNACK AT DUCK CREEK CAFE, PAUATAHANUI

-

Highchairs: Yes Changing facilities: Yes, in the disability toilet Kids’ menu: Yes We were impressed when we popped in for a coffee and a bowl of fries at Duck Creek one Sunday recently. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were offered a highchair straight away and they brought out a children’s menu with activity sheet and pens for Bailey, which kept him entertained. Our order came out quickly, and Bailey’s drink came in a plastic cup so I didn’t spend my meal worrying he was going to break a glass.

Duck Creek’s back deck looks out to the Pauatahanui Inlet and surrounding hills. There is a large grassy area which Bailey enjoyed running around on and exploring. I amtold they also have some toys for the kids to enjoy outside.

The menu looked delicious so we will definitely be venturing back for a proper lunch or dinner. It would be a great spot to meet up with another family for lunch one sunny weekend, when the kids can take full advantage of the outdoor space.

?? ?? Great outdoors: Duck Creek Cafe is very child-friendly, with heaps of outside space for the little ones to run around on a fine day.
