Residents say

More than 400 community residents have had their say on the council’s long-term draft development plan for Otaraua Park, following consultation.

Parks and recreation manager Alison Law said council was pleased with the community response.

“The submission number tells us Ka¯ piti is interested and tuned into what direction the development of their parks take in future years.

“It seems understood that a long-term plan is needed now to ensure future options are not compromised by early development.”
